The serious side effects of Desogen occur very infrequently, especially if you are in good health and are young. However, you should know that the following medical conditions have been associated with or made worse by Desogen:
- Blood clots in the legs (thrombophlebitis) or lungs (pulmonary embolism),
- stoppage or rupture of a blood vessel in the brain (stroke),
- blockade of blood vessels in the heart (heart attack or angina pectoris) or other organs of the body.
- Liver tumours
- High blood pressure
