Dosage: How should you take Migranal?

Migranal comes in the form of tablets as well as rectal suppositories. Your prescription label tells you how much to take at each dose. The directions below are examples of common instructions.

1. Take two tablets of Migranal at the first sign of a migraine headache.
2. Lie down and relax in a quiet, dark room for at least two hours.
3. If the headache pain does not stop within 30 minutes, take one or two more tablets of Migranal .
4. Take one or two tablets of Migranal every 30 minutes until the headache pain stops or until you have taken six tablets.
5. If the headache pain continues after you have taken six tablets of Migranal call your doctor.
6. Do not take more than six tablets of Migranal for one headache unless your doctor specifically tells you to do so.
7. Do not take more than six tablets of Migranal in a 24-hour period or 10 tablets in one week. If you need more, call your doctor.

If you miss a Migranal dose
Migranal is not for regular use. Use it only during a migraine attack.

Migranal Overdose
Migranal taken in excess can have serious consequences. If you suspect an overdose, seek medical attention immediately.

• Symptoms of Migranal overdose may include:
  Abdominal pain, abnormal speech, coma, confusion, convulsions, hallucinations, increase and/or decrease in blood pressure, nausea, numbness, tingling, pain, and a bluish color of your fingers and toes, slowed breathing, vomiting

Migranal Storage instructions
1. Keep Migranal in the container it came in and out of the reach of children.
2. Store Migranal at room temperature and away from direct light.
