When Generic Amoxicillin 500 mg used in combination with Prevacid and/or Biaxin for the treatment of ulcers, the most common side effects of Generic Amoxicillin are changes in taste sensation, diarrhea, and headache.

Why should Generic Amoxicillin 500 mg not be prescribed?
You should not use Generic Amoxicillin 500 mg if you are allergic to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics (for example, Ceclor).

Women using Clomiphene should inform their doctors in case they are prescribed Generic Amoxicillin, although no direct effects of Generic Amoxicillin 500 mg on the unborn child have been established.

To lessen the risks associated with abnormal ovarian enlargement during treatment with clomiphene, the lowest effective Generic Amoxicillin 500 mg dose should be prescribed.

Women with the hormonal disorder, polycystic ovarian syndrome, may be unusually sensitive to certain hormones and may respond abnormally to usual doses of Generic Amoxicillin 500 mg. If you experience pelvic pain, notify your doctor. He may discontinue your use of clomiphene until the ovaries return to pretreatment size. Because the safety of long-term treatment with clomiphene has not been established, your doctor will not prescribe more than about 6 courses of therapy. Prolonged use may increase the risk of a tumor in the ovaries.
