Dosage: How should you use Protopic Ointment ?

Protopic Ointment is applied to the skin; avoid contact with the eyes.

Apply a thin layer to the affected areas. Rub in gently and completely. Usually, you will continue using the Protopic ointment for 1 week after the areas heal. Wash your hands before and after use, unless you are treating your hands. Before applying Protopic Ointment after a shower or bath, be sure your skin is completely dry.

Contact your pediatrician or health care professional regarding the use of Protopic Ointment in children. Special care may be needed.

If you miss a Protopic Ointment dose
Use the missed dose of Protopic Ointment as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next Protopic dose, skip the dose you missed, and use only the next regularly scheduled dose.

Protopic Ointment Overdose
Protopic Ointment overdose is not likely to occur.

However incase of an overdose with Protopic Ointment seek medical emergency immediately.

Protopic Ointment Storage instructions
Keep Protopic Ointment out of reach of children. Store Protopic Ointment at room temperature, 15-30 degrees C (59-86 degrees F).
