Trental CR can ease the pain in your legs and make walking easier but should not replace other treatments such as physical therapy or surgery.

Trental CR precautions if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
The safety of Trental CR during pregnancy has not been established. The manufacturer therefore advises that it should be avoided during pregnancy. Seek medical advice from your doctor.

Trental CR passes into breast milk in small amounts. The effect of this on the breastfed baby is unknown; therefore Trental CR should be used with caution in breastfeeding mothers. Discuss with your doctor.

Special warnings about Trental CR
Inform your health care professional for regular checks on your progress. You may feel some benefit after 2 to 4 weeks of treatment, but it can take up to 8 weeks before you get the full benefit. Do not stop taking Trental CR except on your prescriber s advice.

Smoking tobacco or marijuana can make your condition worse by further narrowing the blood vessels; do not smoke.

Why Trental CR should not be prescribed ?
Trental CR should not be used if you suffer from bleeding in the eye (extensive retinal haemorrhage) and bleeding in the brain (cerebral haemorrhage).

Trental CR should not be used if you suffer from disturbance to the normal rhythm of the heart.

Trental CR should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy.

If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using Trental CR and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
