A/T/S 4% Gel precautions if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
A/T/S 4% Gel is in the FDA pregnancy category B. This means that A/T/S 4% Gel is unlikely to harm an unborn baby. Do not use A/T/S 4% Gel without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant.

A/T/S 4% Gel may pass into breast milk and may affect a nursing infant.

Special warnings about A/T/S 4% Gel
If your acne does not improve within 3 to 4 weeks, or if it becomes worse, check with your health care professional. However, treatment of acne may take up to 8 to 12 weeks before you see full improvement.

If your doctor has ordered another medicine to be applied to the skin along with A/T/S 4% Gel , it is best to wait at least 1 hour before you apply the second medicine. This may help keep your skin from becoming too irritated. Also, if the medicines are used too close together, they may not work properly.

After application of A/T/S 4% Gel to the skin, mild stinging or burning may be expected and may last up to a few minutes or more.

A/T/S 4% Gel may also cause the skin to become unusually dry, even with normal use. If this occurs, check with your doctor.

Why A/T/S 4% Gel should not be prescribed ?
A/T/S 4% Gel should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy.
