Generic Evista 60 mg (Raloxifene)

Take a dose of Generic Evista 60 mg once daily, at any time, with or without food. Take calcium and vitamin D supplements as well, if you do not get enough in your diet. Avoid alcohol and tobacco. Do weight-bearing exercises to strengthen your bones.

Generic Evista dose for postmenopausal women: The recommended Generic Evista dosage is one 60-milligram tablet once a day.

Overdose of Generic Evista: There have not been any reports of Generic Evista overdose.

If Generic Evista 60 mg is taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. It is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Generic Evista 60 mg with the following: Cholestyramine (Questran), Clofibrate (Atromid-S), Diazepam (Valium), Diazoxide (Proglycem), Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, Nuprin), Indomethacin (Indocin), Naproxen (Aleve, Anaprox, Naprosyn), Warfarin (Coumadin).

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding: Generic Evista 60 mg can harm a developing baby. Do not use Generic Evista 60 mg if you are or may become pregnant.

Also avoid breastfeeding while taking Generic Evista 60 mg.

Generic Evista 60 mg Side effect: Generic Evista 60 mg lowers total cholesterol and LDL (\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"bad\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\") cholesterol. Generic Evista 60 mg does not affect HDL (\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"good\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\") cholesterol or triglyceride levels.

The unwanted side effects of Generic Evista 60 mg cannot be predicted. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Generic Evista
